Not Aluminium
Received mine yesterday. It weighs 5.8kg total. A magnet sticks to the main plate. It's steel, not aluminium. Pity as I sold my previous steel one to buy a lighter aluminium. Disappointing.

So here is the solution!

This product will fit the JB74 (3 door Jimny) and the JC74 (5 door Jimny).
These plates are made from 6mm Steel and the brackets are 3mm steel. They weigh 5.8kg including the mounting brackets. All brackets for fitting are required, and fitting is fairly straightforward.

Another nice piece of kit that adds piece of mind, just don’t be a tool and do what I did and try remove existing shield as this goes over top of existing one.
